  • Alena Kuznetsova is a professional multidisciplinary artist born in 1986. Lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine. Participated in local and international projects, author of 15 solo shows.


  • “My creative work includes painting, graphics, land art, video installation, and ceramic sculpture. In my artistic practice, I explore the concepts of movement and changes, the cycling phenomenon of life and death, which are mainly felt in the context of events taking place in Ukraine from 2014 to nowadays.”


  • The paintings and sculptures are privately owned and in collections in Ukraine, the USA, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Spain, Hong Kong, France and Sweden.

“Every star has a rest” - I saw this quote in Gela (Sicily) last summer on the wall in an old town. It resonated deeply with my state at the time, cause of hurrying, struggling, trying to change things you can’t change, success-success and of cause, war... Fortunately, there still are things that sustain and nourish me, as a person: movement, colours, water and forest, friends, travel, mushrooms, meditation, food, getting things in order, slowing down, seeing art that resonates.
