Природа ощущений | Nature of sensations

Пятая персональна выставка новой серии работ, как пять видов ощущений, которыми мы располагаем.
Её работы основаны на некоторых, иногда давно минувших зрительно-интуитивных впечатлениях и связанны со стихиями (огонь, вода, воздух, земля), с природой и ландшафтом, микро- и макрокосмом, глубинами и атмосферными явлениями, переходящие в космические пространства и меняющие масштаб. Снежинка Коха, программа Google Earth, где можно устраивать себе спонтанные путешествия, наугад выбирая место на Земле и постепенно наблюдая разворачивание графическо-цветовой реальности через изменение масштаба, долгие практики аскезы и внутренней работы без внешней связи с миром, путешествия в чистые, удаленные от цивилизации места, богатые уникальными атмосферными (читай – цветовыми) явлениями, – все это является raw material и базисом для работы.

Работы образуют видимость пейзажа через увеличительное стекло, обращаясь к конструкции поверхности, реакции материалов через трещины и наслоения, пятна и разводы, микроландшафт цветных пузырей.

Конечно, здесь нет реалистичных пейзажей. Но картины, с энергией стихий, конечно же имеют и «природную» сущность. “Природную” – не только о планете Земля, то и о нас, ведь мы и есть природа, часть Вселенной, в которой действует один закон, как снаружи, так и внутри: изменения… Они в ощущениях, которые то появляются, то исчезают, бывают как грубыми, так очень тонкими, неуловимыми, неописуемыми.

Fifth solo exhibition of new series, five kinds of sensations that we have.

The works of this series are based on several, sometimes past visual and intuitive impressions, and are associated with the elements (fire, water, air, earth), nature and landscape, the micro- and macrocosm, depths and atmospheric phenomenas, passing into outer space and changing the scale. Koch snowflake, Google Earth program, where you can arrange a spontaneous trip, randomly choosing a place in the world and gradually watching the unfolding of graphic-color reality through zooming, long practice of penance and inner work without external communication with the world, traveling to the clean, far from civilization places rich with unique atmospheric (read – color) phenomena – all this is the raw material and basis for work. Paintings form the appearance of the landscape through a magnifying glass, referring to the surface of the structure, the reaction of materials through cracks and layers, spots and stains, microlandscape of colored bubbles.
Of course, there are no realistic landscapes. But paintings, with energy of elements, of course have a “natural” essence, meaning not only planet Earth, but us, because we are the nature, part of the Universe, which operates one law, both outside and inside: changes… They are in sensations that appear and disappear, may be both rough and very subtle, elusive, indescribable.

Alena Kuznetsova is a young Kiev artist. Born 1986. Received a complete higher education and the specialty “Fine Arts” (KNUBA, 2008). Member of such art schools and workshops of color studying, academic and contemporary art, as Contemplative school of painting with Anastasia Boronina; studio Nicholas Shkaraputa; School of Contemporary Art at Modern Art Research Institute; School of Visual Communications; the New Art School. Since 2007 to this day she works in the genre of non-objective (abstract) painting and color studying. Since 2009 enjoying a fulfilling exhibition activity. Participant of such group projects, as: annual «Artists draw.A4», Karas Gallery, Kiev; Art Kiev Contemporary, Art Arsenal, Kiev; «Ukrainian landscape», Art Arsenal, Kiev; ‘Drawing Utopias», IKLECTIK ART LAB, London.
