The war has taken this spring from all the Ukrainians. We haven’t felt it, haven’t enjoy and we’re not celebrating the birth of new life, the first flowers, and getting warmer weather. It was total stress and sorrow and much much work.

Only when the summer came, and I saw my fav peonies blossom, I felt myself like being alive again and wanted to create large artworks between the feeling of life and death. I was enjoying my fav flowers and the idea of the flower formally, as a sign, reminds me of explosions, which I was very close to at the end of February.
