Her artistic practice engages with ecological and feminist perspectives, focusing on the fragile balance between humans and nature in contexts shaped by environmental transformation, conflict, and displacement. The artist is particularly interested in how these conditions generate new forms of interdependence, vulnerability, and resilience.<\/strong><\/p>\n Participated in Ukrainian and international shows and is an author of 14 solo projects. Her creative work includes painting, graphics, video, installation, photography, text art, and ceramic sculpture. Alena’s artistic practice has changed a lot since 2022. <\/strong><\/p>\n She’s been focusing mainly on abstract painting and color research from 2008 to 2021. Her art<\/strong> has<\/strong> <\/span>changed critically with the full-scale invasion. Alena came out to her international audience and colleagues with a war agenda and began volunteering a lot as a talking head and in written interviews, spreading the word.
